Many of our mattresses are tested and certified for their ergonomic properties. These products are lab tested with a diverse sample representing the normal distribution of the relevant population and are certified to have anti-bed sores properties.
Thanks to this certification, these products have been registered as Medical Devices Class I (one) within the Ministry of Health database and are labeled with CE mark since it’s deemed to meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
This is in accordance with EU Regulation 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5th April 2017 on medical devices. The new regulation repeals Legislative Decree 24th February 1997, n. 46 implementing Council Directive 93/42/EEC.
All mattresses, pillows and covers of our Hospital Division range are flame-repellant and are certified class 1M with the Ministry of Interiors (D.M. 26.06.84 amended by D.M. 03.09.01, tested with CSE RF 4/83 (UNI 9175 and UNI 9175/FA1).
